Right barrie has just replied: Marco The 6th of August is free so we can definately sort something out for you, do you have a time that you are meeting up? I would prefer to avoid our busier time of 2 - 4pm if possible? This should also mean we can sort out a deal for you all? So either late morning or late afternoon? We can offer a buffet, from simple sandwiche platters to more expensive buffets as per attached sheet. Not quite sure what you mean by start outside? Are you planning to get all the cars lined up / outside meet etc? Shouldnt be a problem with this at any time? Do you have a rough idea of numbers? If you can let me know your preferences for the above then I will discuss with Scott and see what we can do. Feel free to call if its easier. Cheers Barrie
I reckon about 3pm ish outside for a bit of a line up etc then 4pm get the helmets on and have a laugh. As for the food well once we get numbers then he can do us an all in price. Still cheap for the karting though.

Okay we'll take it that the date is set. There are a maximum of 8 karts at any one time so if we can get 8 bodies minimum then i reckon it's a goer.
Definates
Me Che MattB Fiat131turbo
We'll let this run for a week or so and see what's what before i book anything.

Alrighty there!!
I am a very proud owner of a Porto 20VT, Just starting out on the road to modifieng heaven... Staying in Edinburgh at the mo.
Was looking through old threads about a meet. Did it eventually happen then??
Have an idea for a meet..
On the 1st July at Knockhill they are hosting the British D1 (drifting ) series.
Now i know coops are scupperd here with their FWD setup, but you wouldnt find a more spectacular event for a meet.
Not quite sure what the circuit will be. Rekon they must start about half way round, last hairpin then veere off the home straight onto the car park and set up cones up there for the last few bends.
Drifting is awesome and such a spectator happy sport.
I,m definitely gonna be there. Infact i might even take it easy on the Sat nite before.
Admission is between 3 - 10 PM
Any thoughts???
Rick

After a little cajoling Barrie from x-treme has offered us 2x25 lap sessions for £20 per person which is 25% free on his original offer.
C'mon lads either we want to do this or not. If the date doesn't suit then don't be afraid to suggest an alternative.

Sparco, just a thought but it might be worth firing up a new thread for this as the title is still how many Scottish Members do we have. Thanks for organising it though, put me down plus 1.
