This morning I received a pair of new bonnet lifters, a pair of anti-roll bar bushes and something that I've been wanting for years.....

Yes the two side carpet panels that go either side of the centre consol on a Plus model, they cover that unsightly gap down by your feet.

That was it, my car was complete and very nearly perfect, so what did I do to it next ?

You had a cracker, the cracker dried out your mouth, you reached out for a cup and turned on the tap. Upon drinking the water, you were not concentrating, this allowed spillage to occur on your marble flooring.

Without realising you took a step back and slipped upon said water, while your feet were pointing toward the ceiling and your body flexing at 90 degrees you reached out (all in what seemed like slow motion).

Your arms flailing outward (as they do for some reason) made your hands snatch at and grab the box that contained the goodies, pulling it downward.

Once the box hit the floor, the contents spewed out across the room and landed in a cement mixer that happened to be there mixing a sandy cement mix.

And there we have it

So, now the carpet panels have tidied the interior I need a new bumper and bonnet to tidy the outside
Yup the gentlest of touches of wood against plastic/metal and the wood wins hands down, the bumper has cracked, the bonnet has dented and cracked the paint to the outside of the indicator light cluster. This dent I pushed out straight away as best I could but the paint has gone so it's repair or replace.

Removing the foam inserts to fit the FMIC seemed like a bad idea at the time as they are designed to absorb energy, it still seems like a bad idea today.

Ho hum, off to see Joe in the very near future.

Meh, it's superficial Chris, wait until it fails the MOT tomorrow, that's when the burning begins.

The voodoo carpets as they will be known from now on look amazing, really finish off the interior.

MOT was ok, I need a full sized front plate and he'll give me my ticket, silly me forgot to stick it over my comedy fun plate this morning.
