A couple of months ago we had a thread about getting together for a coupe meet & Newby Hall was suggested as a possible venue.

Well on the 16th July, Newby Hall hosts the annual classic & vintage car show. This is probably the biggest classic car show in the area and always has a good attendance with a varied mix of cars on display.

So who would be up for a meet at Newby Hall on the 16th July to tie in with the classic car show?

We could meet up & drive down to Ripon, meet some of the North Yorkshire guys there, have a cuppa somewhere & then go to the show.

As well as the cars, there's quite a bit at Newby Hall to keep the wives and children happy - house, gardens, play area etc.

I guess an alternative could be to go to TOTB at Elvington, York on the 30th July.

Both those weekends are good for me as are both the event suggestions.

Do we smell or is it just me?

It's a good idea this - after the World Cup so I should be able to get the day off hopefully. I will pencil the date in and keep an eye on this thread.

Yorkshire meets have been a bit of a dead duck but if we give this a plug you never know - I might not be the only one from these parts to turn up .

Off to TOTB anyway with a mate, so will see you then if it doesn't come off...
