What to say, what a interesting happy up and down roller coaster few years its been!

I have laughed, cried, set coupes on fire, wrote one off and driven the cream (imop) of the best money can buy.

Alas, I'm sad to say I watched the bee drive off in to the distance today. I was a little chocked knowing I would hear her throaty wobble 5pot noise for the last time.
Why? Things change, people change, I have changed. I do not need the power, I don't need the running costs and I don't need the worry!

I just wanted to say a massive thanks to, well every one but wanted to single out both Joe (county) and Paul (porky) for being there for me to winge to and generally have a bit of a giggle.

I hope the new owner loves it as much as I do/did, I also hope it actually gets used and not just sat idle on a drive way as it has with me.

Thanks fccuk, its been a great experience thumb

Ha, that's what I said when I sold mine. There is more to life than fast cars. That lasted less than a year before I got the 750, now I'm (slowly) saving up for a Corvette engine laugh

I would say I mean it this time.....but you know me, and there is no point in pretending!

Its sold to a lovely chap who is going to look after it, I simply would not sell this car to any one. I will let them tell you as its there news, not mine.

I use my car about 3 times a week to go to the shop and back, some times I will to a london or Newcastle blast. It simple was not needed, nor used frown

I think a rice burner is on the cards im afraid paul, will you still be my friend laugh

Real shame Sam, really thought you would keep this one. Can you give me first dibs on the next one please, you always make sure they are in such good nick before selling them laugh

Well I's the lucky one and seeing as it's Sam's thread I won't start a new one.

250 miles up the road later [with a long stop in Lancaster] and on this motoring experience it is a testament to two folk, Joe who's baby it was and Sam who has taken such care and looked after it immaculately. There's so much polish on it creaks [purrs too]. laugh
The good seats make a lot of difference, no back grumbles at all, the journey just eased away. Just the one startled lorry on the Biggar road, who could only flash as he heard the sting roar by driving

Joe, sorry if this has not gone to the home you might have wished, ie not being so mecfhanically minded etc but up here your workmanship will be appreciated in the flesh rather than in a virtual sense. I will be looking for the best attention around here and that is a call for the best recommendation that anyone knows around the central/east side belt to help keep it in tiptop shape. I have been using Harrison motors for the last two years but am happy to act on good suggestions.

After three train rides this morning Sam picked me up at the station and I had the pleasure of meeting Emma and the cats who were uncharacteristically friendly. [The cats!] laugh A tasty cup of tea and soy milk later we were off for a test drive but I think it was already past no return. Sam was off on another errand so I buzzed off. Thanks anyway for a great day - you may be back evil
