Eyup everyone. I'm in the middle of a translation about ICE/navigation head units and their installation. I need to know the proper name for those bendy metal sort of flaps on the cage that you bend to help secure it in place. Any help much appreciated...

Cheers,

Jim

Just make something up Jim, 'chassis cage retaining lug/clip' sounds good.

I will make something up, but I just wondered if there was an official name. It will be going out to millions of a certain major manufacturer's garages worldwide...

The plate I think is called a Head unit fixing plate. So possibly Head unit fixing plate, locking tabs.

I stand corrected. Will still call them fixing plates though as I don't like change
