Alright folks, ive been to the auto moto show today along with a few other coop troopers. I was only there a couple of hours....managed to chat briefly with flea and got about twenty photos(see below). All in all a bloody good line up of motors. One glaring omission from my pics is the new Alfa Romeo 'Brera', as seen on recent Top Gear. Lovely looking car with the good old 3.2 V6. Possible future purchase me thinks!! It was great to see the Ferrari collection, and things like the Fiat Dinos, De Tomasas and Maseratis. Anyway here's the pics(should have got more but had to leave. Maybe one of the other coop owners will have more shots). Oh and lets not forget the Pagani Zonda \:# www.photobucket.com www.photobucket.com www.photobucket.com www.photobucket.com www.photobucket.com www.photobucket.com www.photobucket.com www.photobucket.com www.photobucket.com www.photobucket.com www.photobucket.com www.photobucket.com www.photobucket.com www.photobucket.com www.photobucket.com www.photobucket.com www.photobucket.com www.photobucket.com

Alright Flea. Good to see ya earlier. Wish i could have hung around longer. Anyway there must be an easier way of putting all these pics on the forum, like the way you did yours. I need to learn how to put them all on one thread.

Just a few lines to say how much I enjoyed the Bristol Day.
It didn't start too well as, coming down the M5 with Sumpy my mate from Salford, a lump of rock, thrown up from a tyre of a too close Beemer, shattered the nearside indicator/spot pod, narrowly missing the irrepairable custom paint job. Wished he'd have hit the other pod. Can't clear the misted up interior of that one!
New friends in the FCCUK, met socially for the first time, were at the core of a great day. Like the Lakes run, the memories will last. Highlights for me were: following 3 Lancia Stratos replicas into Bristol and hearing their Alfa V6s bark through the underpass, the sound of the De Tomaso Panteras tuned wedge-head Cleveland mills bouncing off the narrow street's high sided buildings, being deafened by my near neighbour's coop with its hot turbo blow off valve givin' it large, a hot spicy meatball ciabatta roll with great coffee, putting on my ICE with a few different styles of music and having a passing dreadlocked dude start dancing with his lady and giving me the waggly fingers of approval, kids six deep at one point wanting a piccy of themselves in the Flying Banana and the priceless look on their faces afterwards. Did I tour the show? No. Did I care? No. It was a FCCUKing great day and I want more!

What a lovely day. I think the parking in the old quarters where the old tall buildings compliment the cars is a great idea. Much better then walking around a field!!
Met some Coupe owners for the first time, and true to the club, they were all great people.
To say which car at the show was the best is impossible to say, There were soooo many!!!
Got to agree with BM, the three Stratos we followed with there V6 on open pipes through the streets was bliss. One of my all time favorite cars.
Roll on next year!!!

Andy. \:\)

What a cracking day! Really good turn out for the coupes (7). Had a chat with Blingmaster & Sumplug about thier cars & how far they'd travelled, I only live about 15 miles away so the car had just warmed up by the time I got there. My Blitz blue 16v turbo looked pretty tame when the rest of the coupes turned up, especially Blingmasters yella fella & Fleas 480 bhp monster. The rest of the show was spot on with a fantastic selction of interesting Italian motors, the Detomaso boys were celebrating 20th anniversay of the Mangusa & the Ferrari lads enjoying their 60th birthday. Big thanks to Paul Hanmore & the Alfa Romeo owners club for organising such a top day out. Cheers, Rob Mac
