After a year without an event here's our chance, now at a new venue:

Scottish Italian Car Day 2014

It's near Cupar, on Sunday 25th of May, and the venue is more children-friendly with a pick-your-own fruit farm and Mega Maze Bring the family!

Standard admission £5, with classic car tbc. Children under 16 free.

Hopefully me a Pa can both make it to this one, looking forwards to catching up with everybody.

Given that have kids in tow, am thinking of making a weekend of it. Do we need to be there for a particular time (as with the tatton park event where we had places on a stand, but needed to be there 10.00 to 4.00) or is it a bit more informal/flexible?

The event starts at 11.00 and historically we've made an effort to get there by 10.30 in order to group all the coops together.

Once or twice a person has been grumpy about moving their car if a coop turns up late which is not quite in the spirit of the day so it's good to avoid this where possible.

I'll keep everyone posted on any fine tuning as it arises.

Ok, an area has been set aside for us and we're welcome to arrive anytime after 10.00 a.m.

Those of us coming from the south, we can do the usual rendezvous at McDonald's car park this side of the Forth Bridge, leaving in convoy at 0930

I'll get a logo posted which can be printed out to display on arrival which helps the organisers.

will try and make it. only had my ink black for a few months now would be good to give it a blast,

Gutted. Will miss this yet again. My coop is spending the summer with JohnnyBravoTurbo and I'll be out of the UK at work.

Just a note so no family members are disappointed: The Mega Maize does not open until July as it is made from Maize plants and will not be ready until then. Still plenty of other things for the family and all to see & do, incase they get bored of looking at static shiny cars

Also if anybody has spares or are looking for something post it up in this thread and we can bring them along to the meet.

I'm looking for a good cam cover refurbed or not if anybody has one?
