Hey guys, as above need new brakes and good ones!! Was going to go for DBA but as I understand they are not available any more. So what's out best replacement, I'm looking to spend £600 all round with pads will stretch to £800 if I need to as braking is pretty important.

Nick

theres a lot of options when it comes to brake pad/disc combinations, its all well documented if you use the search function. Also check the tuning guide wink

my personal combination is (prices were all irrc GB prices so they may vary)
3G discs (10 groove/dimpled front + 10 groove rear) - £140/150
EBC yellow pads all round - £140
5.1 dot fluid - £45
braided brake lines - £100
and dont forget to include fitting costs if required

i find them fine for general road use (from cold), very good for fast road use, and i've been advised it should be good for occasional track use, but ive not tried em yet.

you could also buy
Caliper repair kit (if needed)
Anti squeel shims (if needed)
