Even better, just use bank transfer to get the funds directly to our club bank account as shown on the form.
Email the completed form to membership@fccuk.org as it says.

I think more people would join if it was like buying something on the net.
E.g, fill out the form click on proceed, enter card details..........done, confirmation e-mail has been sent to you, thank you.

Job done.

Excuse my ignorance if this is already an option, but if it isnt and it was, then I would join.
Call me lazy, but im just being honest.

100% with you on that.
I would send the money and join this second if I could do it with a couple of mouse clicks and a bit of typing.......that's how most forums do it anyway.
The last forum I joined was the BTS and I payed with paypal.......easy!

you can pay by paypal for FCCUK too. We still need other details hence the need for a form.

If you think filling out a form takes time then imagine the time it takes to convert over 400 (some handwritten) onto a database. Then colate the pack and send it and lastly update the forum data. All done in my own time without cost to the club. So you can imagine how eager we are to change this laugh

So you see

Its all there under "Join the Club" at the top left hand corner of this page.

You don't need a printer.

Fill in the online application here and email it, as it says on the form, to membership@fccuk.org

Payment details are also on that form, bank transfer or by paypal to treasurer@fccuk.org will save you writing and posting a cheque.

Hello all,

I haven't received my members pack yet. Sounds like bockers is struggling to get any time to deal with this stuff, but just wondered if we knew of an ETA.

Cheers peeps

I think you should have a big sign on the front page of the forum, lik you do when your selling the calander, just to let everyone know about this.
Much quicker and easier and I think you'll have quite a few new members now.

Im one of them now, ill post the cheque tomorrow and ive already filled out my details.
Any problems just call me, or PM me.

Thanks, look forward to it.

Thanks Technics, great feedback. I agree and will sort a banner once we have the process sorted for renewals.

Awesome way to do it (bank transfer) rather than sending chq's etc wink GOOD WORK! smile

Depends when it is and if it clashes with a drift event ...... wink

Just glad in back in the membership side of things as i didnt realise that it had run out so long ago maybe a reminder email nearer the renewal date would be a good suggestion???
I totally appreciate that all the members that run the club are under pressure with lots to do but just a suggestion wink

i'd agree with that mate - in fact instead of the registered date why not have joined date?

It says on the back of your membership card when your current term expires.

I do also send out email reminders but am sure due to the forum name they get stuck in spam filters. I would send PMs but that takes ages frown

my card lives in my car, my laptop lives in my house - having it in front of your eyes would give no excuse. imo anyway

Just completed the application form online and sent money via paypal to subscription@fccuk.org as noted.

This is so long overdue, over 2400 posts, on here over 3 years and I wasn't a real club member. Sorted wink

Putting in your real name as the reference will work, it's just so that we can match payments with people.

I processed all forms received in the last week of march and first week of April. These were sent Wednesday evening.

Sorry but I am doing major DIY work at home so barely have enough time to process applications let alone confirm payments etc along the way. Add to this April is the busiest month for renewals frown

All I can say is that all forms will be processed within 28days, if you have not heard anything after this then please PM me. Not ideal I know but the club is rune solely on a free volunteer basis and sometimes other parts of life get in the way. If however anyone wants to help get involved please let us know thumb

Normal service will be resumed in May.
John

No to the first question and yes you can now get into the members' area, although you may have to clear your cookies first.
