its just a nice touch to have leather rather than cloth but you do slide around on leather unless you gliptone your seats and that will stop you sliding around and protect your leather too .

I'll be very honest here and probably incur howls of protest, but for some bizarre reason I actually found the cloth seats more comfortable! It could be that the previous owner(s) of my coupé were skinnys and the owner of the leather donor car was a tub'o'lard who had compressed the foam but there is a noticeable difference.....

Leather looks better though!

I've had each - cloth in my first 20vt and leather in the current car.

The standard leather seats are comfortable enough, but they offer very little sideways suport, as your ar$e just slides sideways on the seat squab. With cloth, there's far better friction between bum and seat, so you tend to stay put a bit more.

I got so tired of it that I sourced some far better black leather seats

It depends what you want - leather is nicer to look at (unless you're a cow) and is easier to keep clean. However, its cold in winter and (very) hot in summer.

Cloth is gripper for "enthusiastic" driving and gentler on the buttocks in extreme weather.

So - if its comfort & style - go for leather. If its performance, go for cloth

You have to ask yourself why race seats are never leather - always cloth (or better still, alcantara)

Cloth every time for same reasons as Nigel, always found leather far too slippery in the corners.

The plus Recaro seats I've just sold were pretty good though and certainly held you in well, so maybe best of both worlds.

Up to you really Sjay, your car looks great as it is and I'll certainly be looking for a cloth interior 20VT6 out of choice.

I prefer leather seats, mainly because they wipe clean easier and they don't burn as easy as cloth laugh

I don't find that I slide around in the leather seats, but that's mainly because I have a fat backside to keep me in place laugh

Leather seats were one of the main things I wanted when I was looking for a Coupe smile

I've had the standard cloth and leather. Got to say I liked the cloth better, for some reason they seemed more comfortable and cosy wink

Of course the leather improves the look of the interior ten fold

I was happy enough with my Turbo[6] cloth seats and vowed never to have leather, although that was before the opportunity of a full LE interior for a dirt cheap price came my way laugh .

I do miss the cosiness of the cloth though especially in the cold weather just now snowman .

Only go for leather if you've got aircon, you don't want a sweaty backside all summer!

Best of two worlds: Recaro, black leather, black suede center sections. wink
