I am thinking about removing some parts and lowering the price

I can/will

- Replace the Longlife exhaust with a Powerflow one (great condition)
- Remove the Trim Deluxe steering wheel and replace with the original
- Remove the LED tower bulbs and replace with originals

This will allow me to reduce the price to £2550.00

Stick to your guns, patch. Your silver 20vt is a superb example. This time of year is not a sellers market the trade is dead for cars like the coupe. They just dont seem as appealing on these gloomy wet icy days and so soon after Christmas. In a few weeks the sun will come out the roads will dry and posing in a beautiful fast coupe will appeal to far more potential buyers.
Anyway, goodluck with the sale. Am also loving your new addition cool

Not enough of a reduction in price to make it more attractive IMO. I agree with the comment above, keep as is and hold out for a sale. If I was buying, I'd rather pay the little bit extra and have it with the extras on.

Then sell the bits you would have put back on the car, any return is better than none!

Good luck with the sale.

Cheers Jim, I see what you are saying, but as for the price reduction not being enough?

As the car has had in excess of £4000.00 spent on it getting it to the condition she is and potential purchasers will be getting a rock solid example and be able to sleep at night I think it's priced just right - and I'm making a huge loss!

Also, having looked at other examples myself, before I purchased the Plus, I KNOW that most all of the ones you see (Bar forum cars) are pretty much unloved time bombs!

She's a bargain.

You misunderstood my point. Given the amount of the reduction, I don't think it will make the car more attractive. Therefore don't waste time, just leave it at it's current price, with the bits on. Sell the "replacement" parts separately.

I wasn't trying to say reduce it further, if someone would be interested at £2550 without those bits, I don't think he/she would baulk at paying £2800 as is. Hope I've clarified my point?

Just had a call - The buyer has decided he wants a red one (fool ;)) therefore she's back on the market.

I'll sort her out with some new 20VT wheels over the weekend, give her a spruce up and take different pictures. She'll find a loving home soon and the owner will be a happy puppy!

MODS - Can someone please unlock the for sale thread for me?
