Poor Ink Black on Spotlight (bbc southwest tv) this lunchtime. It's always parked outside Grahams on Marsh Barton Trading Estate. Anyhow, it was hit (along with a load of other vans and cars) by a heap of fallen scaffolding.

Hope its not as bad as it looked!

See what you're saying but I think the chance of the guy/girl who owns it being that calm are approxamatly 0.

Imagine if it was yours......you hear a massive crash and wondering what it is run outside. You see your pride and joy broken under 20 tonnes of scafold and say

'oh it doesn't look that bad'

hehe wink

That is so unluckey for everyone envolved, something that don't happen very often. Even so I have worked on scafholding for a couple of years in the past, and ity is worrying. I expect someone will have to coff up for the damages. What a repair billl, all them cars and vans.

Real shame tho. cry

You got to watch out were ever you park, I have been sitting in tesco car park[mot in coupe]waiting for my girlfriend and all of a sudden. BANG carless twat in a poo brown 1951[lol]metro city.

Bang my door and walked off without a care in the world, he didn't know I was in my car. I confronted him and made him pay £50 on the spot. Some people wouldn't think twice about brushing past your car, or clipping there door with yours or even just bashing it on the way past with a pram or trolly.

Its not one of mine, they're still in the drive.

I hope all the scaff tags were up to date, could be an easy win for the HSE this one. crazy

Drove past this afternoon. I think its just the rear screen that got a pole through it - kinda lucky, but still a serious p*sser!

Well it was still there on Sunday, complete with new style roof rack still in place.
I assume the HSE have had the place cordoned as none of the cars are going to be moving for a while. piccy here

I've got to agree that the Coupe itself looks to have had a very Lucky Escape

Here's a close up. Note to self: Always remember to park inbetween two taller cars wink

Edit: Oops. Just noticed the picture on the previous post. Oh well, I've done it now

Hi guys thats my car,and it's a write off, category C. They are trying to offer me £1600. How easy is a roof to fix?
Need to gain evidence of it's true market value.Yes i'm very angry!

Makes you wonder, some of the older cars listed as cat c or d could be a steal if you knew why they were listed as such.

what exactly is wrong with the roof billa? just a few dents, or have the pillars moved at all, or is it creased etc?

to gain evidence of 'true' market value send in the most expensive examples of your year of car you can find, look on autotrader as a start. (and make sure you say yours was in better condition than that)

hey, you may eevn be able to buy it back off the insurance, fix it with the money they give you and have a little left over to treat yourself.

Hope you get it all sorted!
