im in the process of designing and making bracket to put brembos on a 20v na, should be ready new year. many cars calipers are fitted with brackets so its totally safe. the other way is swapping the uprights to a 20vt type, also the suspension to 20vt type and then you need a set of adapted drive shafts. Most important a set of brembo calipers and pads/ disks and hoses. o and 16inch alloys/or larger to clear the calipers. joe at country cruising does this conversion but it will cost well over £500 in parts alone.

But im doing this to a 20v na so i dont know if it will be compatible to a 16v or 16v turbo. As long as the caliper mounting holes are the same on a 16v as a 20v na they should work

Also the bracket way should cost no more than a £100 for the brackets and fixing bolts. A mate is making me the brackets so it will be very cheap and once i have sorted my own car i may do a group buy for the brackets and fixings.
