Just got home from the shops to find my engine running rather hot, On comes the warning light just as I pull on to the drive. Low behold water gushing out the bottom of the car.. joy!

Now I feel part of the club! laugh

check the hose of death, it the one that runs across the back of the block to the back of the stat.

Also check the little hose that goes onto the bottom (RHS as you look from the front) mine has popped off before.

just had a little look, all the water is coming out of the bottom of the engine.. all the pipes look in good nick so its a gasket or water pump.. infact i dont know! laugh

turned out it was that long hose. £129 to fix and thats money well spent with a health check also. The suns out and im a happy lad laugh

did you use a local garage in Portsmouth to do the work? If so, would you recommend them for working on Coupes? (I'm based in Portsmouth too!)
