Hi i am looking to replace my cloth 16vt interior with leather from a 20vt. This is mainly due to my job where i often get in the car dirty and will quikly ruin the cloth. At the moment its still ok if anybody wants it FOC.

Just wanted to check that there are no issues with the fitting of seats or door cards and that they will be a straight fit without complications.

Thanks Rich

Door cards are a problem! Definately not a straight swap.

Yep, all but the door cards, they won't fit.

Thanks for the info. So do they fit with reasonable modification or is it not worth the bother? Also what about the rear panels? Thanks again Rich

Rear panels I believe are okay, but the thing with the doors is the position of the handle / door release. Maybe if you're really into these kind of things you can keep the 16v door release, but those new door cards will need serious modification. You might want to look at a 20v / 16v and compare side-by-side. Doors open and you will see the difference. In fact - then take a picture and post it to us, it would be a good reference as this question comes up every now and again.

Didn't even realise this was an issue. I have honestly never noticed a difference.
Was about to ask exactly why but then Kayjey's explanation is spot on. thumb
