It seems to be the cheapest place around the A55 that sells decent fuel i.e. Optimax! Hence the queues mistress - it's a nightmare isn't it! I love playing the petrol pump roulette game "Which car will move next? I'll try this one - oh dear, they've gone to the toilet! Lose a turn!! etc" They must also keep the oveheads down by not employing more than one person at a time - those guys must be ex-Tibetan monks i.e. very patient with the customers! I've seen at least one toursit having a real go at them becuase they were on their lunch!! Agree with you there Pinin - no point using more fuel to save a penny or two a litre by going to Black Cat - Optimax is also available near Llanfairfechan, Menai Bridge & Valley. I went to the GP Masters race in Silverstone this weekend (saw one 20VT in Portofino there) and put £55 of Opti in Black Cat. On the way back I needed more fuel (I stuck to the limit obviously! & Telford services had Opti cheaper than 'the cat'. Who'd have thunk it!

I've managed not to argue with them over the queues, but I did argue over a packet of Wotsits....... How dare they tell me they weren't part of the meal deal - despite the promo material saying ALL walkers big eats were, and the Wotsits blatantly had Walkers Big Eat all over them!! ...I get very passionate about me Wotsits

From your post Mona.. a modified Protofino Blue 20V Turbo parked outside Bennetts' Electrical Superstore (staff member) - seems to have been replaced by a modified new Beetle recently Step up, CoupeDave! I hope you haven't shunned the coupe for a Beetle - a Scotts Green 20V Turbo, heavily modified, in Bangor (Tesco (again!) and Halfords And again I suspect this is Cowboy

Pinin - I have seen photos that Cowboy & Dave have posted elsewhere, and it probably was their cars that I saw. I haven't seen CD's Coupe outside Bennetts for a while, as it used to be parked by the front door. There appears to be a modded (new) Beetle in red parked there now - but there used to be a modded blue Beetle there before, so perhaps Dave has not left the fold!
I'll have to look this week on my way to Tescos.....

It's still there just been cycling a lot to work, pop in and say hello!! Went through the crazy stage of maybe giving up the coupe but after councelling and various medication I came to my senses!! The beetle is the managers car.

That explains why I haven't seen it when I've been passing recently. The Beetle looks pretty modded (as was the old one) - is it a turbo?
I actually bought a TV & VCD/DVD-R combo from Bennetts this year, so I think I might know you already. I'm also friends with Dave Fox from Pesda, who used to work there (if you know him).
Glad you kept the faith with the Coupe Dave!

I've also seen a Sprint Blue Turbo on the A55 in recent months - near Abergele, travelling West.
C'est moi. I live in Abergele, and frequent that stretch of the A55. If you specify time and place, we could be sure.
Do you know who I am?? Check for the Versaces.

Hi Enforcer Have forgotten the specifics, except that it was a few months ago and it was daylight!! I'll keep my eyes peeled when I'm passing the area again (which is frequently) - keep your eye out for a red 20vT with personal number & I usually have a pair of Oakley X-Metal Juliets on my hooter!

I was passing in the opposite direction in a Land Rover Discovery on my way home from the V Festival, and spotted a dark blue T-plated Turbo at about 11 A.M. on Monday 21st parked up by the side of the A483 Wrexham By-Pass with a puncture! The driver was taking off the nearside rear wheel & had the space saver out - hope you got it changed and back on your journey OK! Were you the one I saw parked in the lay-by near the Llanfairfechan tunnel a few weeks before?!?

No, don't post it on here if you host it through Photobucket, as work filters that and I can't access all these amusing pics... (So you're lucky Chris, I can't see what you're accusing me of looking like! ) I shall pm you with my email address Enforcer... Thanks

With Nia's permisssion, then - here she is. Riddled with insecurity and self-doubt, but for no good reason that I can see. Come on everyone, tell her how lovely she looks! It is her!!
