Last year it was on the tarmac a little infront of the entrance road, maybe it will be a similar place this year

They usually point you in the right direction when you get there. I was the first one there last year and they lined us up on the concrete not far from the access road

I hope to attend Gaydon (Yellow 16v) - at the Supercar sunday event at gaydon the De Loreans made a flash entrance in a line of about a dozen (all with their gull wing doors open) - anyone know if there will be any convoys arriving and at what time single cars can join in ?

where can you find out about track tickets at gaydon?

Think its too late to prebook your track tickets now luke, tuesday was the cut off date.
However, you can go to the front desk and find out what times the track is running (2-3 times IIRC) and pay for it there @ around twenty quid

Guys, my crowd will be leaving Uxbridge (A40) Swakeleys Roundabout at 9, picking another up at Stokenchurch (J5) 9.20 and calling in at Oxford services around 9.45/10.

If anyone wants to join our convoy feel free at any of these points. You'll spot me in the green 20vt plus 2 Ferraris (360 &355), Porsche 911 turbo, and a grey 500 Essesse - (and you won't see many of those yet!)

IIRC, the "track experience" is pointless, as they restrict you to 70mph (daft, when the track is big enough to do double that in complete safety)

I hope to be there now, mine will be the coupe with the 'For Sale' sign in the window.

Last year there wasn't a 70mph limit. There was a pace/safety car which you had to stay behind and which slowed things down for corners but it wasn't holding back on the straights.

Not sure what speed Bob got up to, but it was a darn sight more than 70mph.

Just got in! Was another good AI event, good turn out of Coupé's (50 ish - not quite world record numbers but still very good...), although gutted to find another Plus in the same (rare) colour as mine Some attendees appeared to be slightly the worse for wear, not sure why...

another great day with the coop guys and gals, and some truly stunning cars. oh and some ferraris too......

gotta say what a lovely bunch of people the coop owners i've met are, although there have been a few peaky faces about today. it seems el presidente may be numero uno in club terms but needs to brush up on his drinking - still, it gave the cleaners some interesting issues to clean away....

At least it didn't look like i'd been punched in both eyes Proccy, by all means you're welcome to try drinking a triple neat whiskey, then downing more than half of it, still i did clean the toilet after i had thrown up Last nights drinking was more successful, as the triple vodka and red bull went down a lot easier and never came back up!

Thank you to everyone that came, i counted 48 coupes and was told there was a couple of straglers elsewhere, so maybe the same as the Brooklands turn out.

Look enough about my eyes. You will just have to accept my lashes are nicer than yours

hi guys and gals,i got back at 6pm,it was a safe drive home just started to rain 40 mins into the way back home,and now i know the cars in good nick it wasnt a stressful journey back think i only looked at the dials 369 times !!!! lol,as mentioned there were some truely stunning motors on display today,well hope to see you again soon
