With reference to this post , I've decided I'm going to keep her for a while longer.

I got to a stage where I'd actually put a couple of for sale notices in the windows on the Coupe. But for some reason never got round to actually putting it on sale here formerly, or advertising it anywhere else. The conclusion? I don't think I really want to sell the Coupe, but with a massive career change, and a few other ups & downs during the beginning of the year it initially 'felt' the right thing to do.

I think the reality of this hit me when friends and family commented on the Coupe being in A1 condition, and finding another vehicle (whether it be a Coupe or not) in that sort of condition, mixed the performance, etc would be almost impossible at a similar price.

Also if I have to drive a 1.2 Corsa for my driving tuition, it's an absolute pleasure to get back behind the wheel of the Coupe. I just need to make sure I drive the Coupe a little more often.

I think the other issue for me was the price. Personally I think my Coupe is in absolute mint condition, but I just can't value it, primarily because the car is worth as much as someone wants to pay for it. Not a book value, as such.

Maybe next year I might re-visit the idea as the dust settles with the career change...

I guess I really ought to get around to some of the SouthEast meets now...

Good decision!

I've also thought about selling the past year, but with coupe's going for so little, I'd certainly not get anything near what my car is worth to me

And I couldn't replace it with anything remotely as exciting/individual/fast/blue so she's staying!

It is hard to understand how a cemetery can raise burial rates and blame it on the cost of living
