You might get more (perhaps £5k), but you'll be waiting for the right enthusiast with readies. Good luck smile

My worry would be that the right enthusiast would be looking for a completely standard plus. Expect to be offered anything between 2 and 3K. And in todays climate that'll probably be from the right enthusiast. You really need two right enthusiasts to get it higher.

I know, so would I. But thats the reality and why I'd never ask,'How much?' when it came to my coupe. Because I know even if the paint work hadn't been screwed up on mine I'd have been lucky to get £1500 for it, and its a very tidy lowish mileage example.

Yup - new lips at the front - paint man taking out all unecessary parking dints and a touch of paint over any scuffs...(Of which there are few - but my wife has driven it once or twice) evil

Took care of that with the old - Tie her laces together, push down stairs, pour a can of stella over her and phone the police/insurance company... smile

As listed in OP - "I will have the car fully prepd before sale " love

BTW - I still have the "Catalogue shots" from the Kenilworth meet - if ya need them to forward to your "Agency" wink

i will pop a few pics up to tantalise y'all later...if i can be bothered...

I dont think you will get much than 4k for a plus in the current market, unless the right person comes along.

Only way to find out is to put it up for what you want and then price down if it doesn't sell.

There is a sprint blue for sale at the moment, base your price on that one I suppose.

But its not exactly selling like hot cakes is it and that car looks extensive on the service part! I know you have to try and recoop as much as you can back CJ but your gonna have to be realistic frown

How much more extensive is FSH??? confused My book is overflowing smile

Anyways - i dont NEED to sell...but im seriously considering it...

If realism is as low as some figures quoted - then realistically - i will keep it.

My reciepts over 18 months of ownership are in the thousands...I guess if people want to take a chance on a turbo then good luck.

Theres alot of sh1tters out there..
Id buy form a FCCUKer for 3/4 years..

EVERY big job done - and done either by Motomech or Joe...then fair enough... its got Pistonheads written all over it...

If it dont go then fair enough....heres a little pic from last week.
Its not looking at its best yet - got it booked in for a Full mop and touch up too.. love

That is one gorgeous looking car to be fair smile

CJH, decide how much you would accept for it and stick it in the classifieds on here and Pistonheads smile

She's looking mighty love now Cj, good to read that you've had all the little niggles sorted.

As Vic says, list the price you'd like and stick to your guns mate thumb

i think £4000 is perfectly reasonable for a clean plus model.

stick to it, it should get that eventually.

The problem is that many potential buyers get put off by mileage, so just hold out for a buyer that is realistic.

Sounds good. Its unfair to say that all lower milers are clocked though. i have a genuine 50k LE, and know of a 23k black LE too.

Why a london car? apart from usually being clean under neath (little rust), they are spent sitting it traffic for a very long time, so a 50k london car will have had the engine running for the equivalent of a lot more miles, sitting idling away, and at high temps.

This LE isnt going anywhere for less than £5k.

Personally i think 4.5 is a good deal i do feel a Gtec chip and car advertised as 250+bhp would help. that extra shock factor the power gives does help sell in my experience.
Other than that i cant see why it cant fetch the asking price!
PLUS no pun intended its the most desirable colour,
