Hi All

Well, after travelling the length and breadth of this rain-soaked land looking for a suitable Coupe to buy, I finally found one - a 1999 20vt in green and what a little beauty it is!
Not been used to such high power levels for many years, I approached my drive home from the south to my home in Sheffield with some caution, particularly has it was bucketing down on the M1 last Thursday. Anyway, I'm pleased to report all went well and the car really is a delight to drive. One thing I do like is how the car can be driven so 'normally' without so much as hint of what is to come if you plant your foot firmly on the loud pedal - useful for taking the more nervous of passengers for a ride!
Hopefully, the car will give many happy hours of fun and of course, I WILL keep checking the oil!

Thanks Guys, I look forward to taking the car to some shows this summer, that is if it ever stops raining! Also it looks like you all very clewed-up with Coupe matters and and you know, that if very comforting to know should something need attention with the car.

After reading all your posts, it seems like there;s a LOT of checking to do on the Coupe, but I'm sure it's all worth while...hmm, perhaps I should have bought something else instead...maybe fishing tackle, or perhaps a new set of gardening tools!
