cheap tat

Mintex pads are just about OK for a modestly-driven Coupe, but will fade badly when worked hard.

I boiled a set of Mintex pads within 2 miles of fitting them (was doing the recommended bedding in process, but they ended up producing clouds of smoke as I boiled the resin bonding compound)

Discs will be cheap non-heat treated blanks, made to look shiny

Avoid

i have the discs and they actully are good. i have used expensive discs on cars before and they are not any better. i have mintex standard pads on the back but they are the same as standard pads. i would get just the discs and either yellow stuff pads or padgid pads to go with them.
i got the discs for £130 delivered and zinc coated.

A good recomendation from the guy who hammered his pads in because they didn't fit tongue

Zinc coating will be gone the first time you hit the brake pedal leaving the s[censored]te quality disks.
