Frary how did you do the knobs?

I just spayed them silver the brushed over the the bottom bits witha brush then cleaned of the bit were the lights are with a stanley knife.
The center consul will come completely apart with a bit of patients and ignorance.
but if you dont get every liffle bit of rubber off the primer will "crinkle"as it drys.
Even when you "think" its all off there is always a bit somewhere.
The reason it crinkles is becouse as it drys the paint shrinks microscopic amounts and pulls up the edges of the rubber.
but gives the impression of crinkling
i did mine silver to start with which gave it a modern look but wasnt as nice as red
