Well i have a few centre consoles laying about.
Just refurbed one.
Thought hey lets do another!! laugh
So heres the start!

Liked the look so moved onto this mess.
Couldnt get the dam decals out so had to mask them all rolleyes

Swapped the black dash over Must say i like it, in the flesh its a perfect match to the strip.

yea its a big enhancement in the flesh, i still have a refurbed black one i can use but the red really brightens the cab up.
Moving onto the vent part next.

yeah i know lol, getting it off is a tw4t too.
Im not sure how good a job you could get from a respray on that part as theres so many corners and trays.
Hmmmm it would look great though!

The center consul will come completely apart with a bit of patients and ignorance.
but if you dont get every liffle bit of rubber off the primer will "crinkle"as it drys.

Even when you "think" its all off there is always a bit somewhere.

The reason it crinkles is becouse as it drys the paint shrinks microscopic amounts and pulls up the edges of the rubber.
but gives the impression of crinkling

i did mine silver to start with which gave it a modern look but wasnt as nice as red

on the knobs there are bits at the bottom that are serated for more grip.

you can get those decent leathrette things Frary mate, i have been looking at them myself, you fit them yourself and come with Logo's on the back rest area. think there about 300 for the full interior.
