Looks like one? Someone has gone to a lot of trouble faking it if not. If it has all the kit and a 6 speed box, it will be...try running the plate through an insurance quote and see? Or do an hpi check (which you should for any coupe under consideration anyhow). It's not on the insurance database with that reg

Popped reg in 3 different quote calculators and not one is giving that reg as an LE, not sayin that its definately not one, as some of these insurance sights dont differentiate between a standard 20vt and an LE but pretty sure one of them would have. Just got weird feelin about the car, coupled with the amount of mods done to it, plus its £500 more than it was sold for 2 months back.

Really want an LE and was due to go see it today but a bit fishy,

J

I can never bring myself to pay more for something than I could have done by acting earlier. "Nose" and "cut off" springs to mind.

Try a punt at offering him what he paid for it, or less. It would appear it isn't the car for him to shift it on so quick? Or he needs the cash?

Just spoke to him , in fairness he openly admitted he paid £3700 for it but has had a £1500 service done including cambelt etc for peace of mind and has since lost his job so needs to sell. For the peace of mind of all the work being done, i'd probably be happy to pay up to and no more than 4k,

any thoughts?

If you can find out the username of the previous owner (the fccuk member) chances are he might of put up posts of problems, how it runs etc on the forum? Seems like a beautiful, honest car, just makes sure he has a receipt for the CAMBELT etc??

My LE doesn't always come up an as LE on car insurance websites.

Now someone COULD have taken the trouble to respray an entire 20vt car (interior as well) in vinci grey and fit all of the LE bits as well.. tongue

No plaque in engin bay just in the interior. If its not an LE its a bloody comprehensive fake.
Great find Charlie laugh

Maybe the seller on PH is a trader (rather than a dealer) but went for a private ad confused Cheaper on AT too...

Thats my only issue with Silver LE's - you cannot really distinguish the Titanium Mirrors/rear light inserts etc....

Mr Chaplin.... put everyone out of their misery and let us have that LE number laugh

ps: Looking at the Autotrader piccy No.7, as well as the original steering wheel, see if you can source a pair of the centre console carpet pieces out of a Plus that wedge in at the sides and hide all those nasty airbag and stereo cables wires.... best mod for an LE other than the HIDs wink
