Why does this thing take so long to update?

My old BMW was still on there for days after the insurance ran out, could have driven it and not got stopped.

I took out some temporary cover on a Corolla this morning and got pulled over twice today for suspected no insurance, making me late. Each time they had to call through to check, if they couldnt get through the car would have been towed \:o

I know, I should fix my printer \:D but how hard is it to update an entry in a database?

Rant over!

Missus got pulled for speeding the other day in her 3.0l 166, Insurance Database said she wasn't covered, luckly they let her continue with just a producer (oh and a speeding ticket to boot).

Whats the link to check online ?

I was using day insure for months on my old coupe as it was not a daily runner.

I never got pulled although the database never showed the vehicle as being insured,
