Might of been asked before but...

LE side skirts and Lips, would you declare them to your insurance company.

Would you class them as a body kit?

Whats ya Views on this?

Thanks

definitely tell them, don't give them any reason to invalidate your policy

Yes - I've declared mine. On my policy it comes under exterior changes.

Ex 20VT - now something far more sensible'ish... smile

Yeah only way to be sure, the insurance companies will look at anything to try and get out of a claim, no point in giving them more ammo

nope lol, there's no way norwich union will see this post even if i email them a list of my mods tommorow at work they are that incompatant they woud'nt put two and two together.

most insurance companies dont go to the ends of the earth not to pay out, thats the biggest myth we hear at work evryday but always best to be on the safe side unless you know every underwriters schemes and the way they work things inside out, for example anyone who works in insurance will know (if they deal with these companies)
Sabre will be like the fbi investigating your claim and legal and general seem to just whip out the cheque book.

I declared my bodykit (LE skirts and Zender bumper) along with everything else non-standard, so dump valve, steering wheel, boost gauge, HIDs, exhaust, springs. It didn't make much difference to the price and I thought safe rather than sorry.

the best way is to delcare everything, eventhings that your not sure about declaring (down to gauges etc).
I think the cost of my insurance was the same as a standard coop if not less.

Noel Dazeley, but their renewal quote has gone up £50 after a claim-free year.

Think I'm going to give Adrian Flux a call, their rough web quote was £50 cheaper and I'll get a FCCUK discount.
