Got the strut brace some time ago actually off Swinny from these boards. Can't give you an individual price for it as i bought it as part of a group of things. I've actually had most the engine bay done for a while, just no photoed it, so thought i might aswell put it up aswell.

Thanks guys. Took weeks to get the right yellow. Tried Lambo midas gold, Lambo sunburst yellow. Loads of blind alleys before Paints 4U in Scunthorpe gave Andy, my sprayer Lambo base chrome yellow over which he laid a modified gold pearl then 4 coats of clear. I've just taken some shots of the car but the weather let me down. Yesterday it showed a yellow so bright it hurt to stare at it, but every returned edge showed a pale orangey gold highlight. The tints are in place and the interior, including the stereo fascia plate, gearknob, speaker grilles and dash/door cappings have all been done. By sheer luck the seats are spot on the right shade! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?V...A%3AIT&rd=1http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c377/Faran_2litre/Fiat%20Coupe%20custom/P1010432.jpghttp://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c377/Faran_2litre/Fiat%20Coupe%20custom/P1010434.jpgNext up: refurbing the discs and callipers and modding the front Zender grille to accept a new Fiat van badge, colour coded to match. It is - i've just had the parking dents removed - had it mopped and the alloys re-furbed & re-coloured.

It cost me £70 +VAT. I'd probably been able to get it cheaper elsewhere - but it was in getting the wheels re-furbed so i thought i'd get it done at the same time. It has make a massive difference to what it was!

wow its like having a respray for 70 quid, did it cover any blemishes us? How do they do it i heard the mop moves the paint particals around but does that not ruin the laquered finish?
cheers looks good by the way.

Thanks.
From what i can gather - a normal mopping would use G3 - that flattens some of the paint / laquer to take away blemishes, and is then polished up afterwards.
They guys who done mine used something called SSR (Sprayless Scratch Repair) so it doesn't take any layers off the car. The car still has very slight swirl marks in the paint - but is a lot better than it was. It has also covered up some minor scratches which was a bonus!
