Hey guys I’ve just taken my car to body shop to get a full re-spray and was thinking of getting it in another colour at the moment it’s a moon grey which is going to be a hard colour to better. Anyone got any idea of a good colour for the coupe i was thinking pearl white but I’m not sure. i want a classy color. i dont know how to upload a pic of my car otherwise id show you what my car looks like lol ah well.

the new audi white...white is the new black...

I think it really gives the coupe a nice modern clean look with the LE kit. what price you looking at for the spray work?

i got a friends price so not too expensive it needs the work as it has loads of damage after rolling into a wall when the handbrake couldnt hold the car on a steap hill.

One person's classy colour is another's tacky one ;\)

Just go for the colour you want, not what everyone else thinks.

i agree that its got to be your choice. I do really like your white idea though....white cars kept clean and cared for can look very very good.
Think about how much time your willing to put into looking asfter your car after the spray job aswell....as some colours look amazing when clean but terrible very quickly after 10 miles on a wet motorway. Others look ok all the time but dont give you that amazing sparkle.

yellow is a great color, you don't notice its dirty until you clean it and give your self retina burns

I had a full respray done on a Beetle a couple of years ago.

The curves suited the paint in the sun the same as a coupes curves would.

It was called Subaru Granite Black. (an old Subaru color)

It is a really beautiful color. It looks jet black at night and in dull daylight. But when it's in the sun it has a really magic red metal flake pearl. it will really turn heads and is not to in your face like some of them silly muscle car pearl effects.

http://i411.photobucket.com/albums/pp195/chandler77/mhm54l.jpg

Good luck

Nice. But ask yourself- does that colour look good because of the car or does the car look good because of the colour? If its the latter, then I don't see why the Coupe wouldn't look good in that colour too.

Personally, I was watching Bad Boys 2 the other night and Will Smith's Ferrari looked both sporty and classy in that colour- smoke grey I believe.

Why not go for a rare orange sort of colour, that's not too in your face? \:\)

The Alfa 156 GTA's have a lovely colour called Miro Red or Miro metallic red.

It's a lovely shade of red in certain light and changes to lovely shades of oranges and reds in other lights.

Lovely colour and I think it would look nice on a Coupe \:#

Although, I do like the orange mentioned above in another post too \:\)

I never thought a db9 would look good in white, just shows how wrong you can be....... \:# \:# \:#

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2008-Aston-Martin-...A1%7C240%3A1318

I think that colour will really suit the coops lines, very clean, crisp and minimalist, good choice!

i can remember when i had my yellow one, it looked far shinier than my current red one does, is that because of the colour?

Very nice. I'm also part of the 'elite' white coupe's with mine looking like yours but mine is standard with clear white and no kit. It also has.... flushed bonnet, rear lights tinted in cherry red and the dash is cherry red. The bodyshop have done a really good job but now all i'm waiting on is the mirrors to be sprayed white.

Im hoping to make the wheel's a dark grey colour in the future.

Pictures to follow soon......
