How relaiable is the 6 plate/pad clutch, how many miles can you do before it wears out?
Also would can you use the original bearing with the clutch or does this have to be upgreded too?
Would this clutch kit really hold with 450bhp?And how many miles would it take to loose the judder?

Our clutch kit (clutch cover 980lbs + 6 pads disc, without the bearing)is U$ 465,00 + delivery (depends the contry,15 days).
It would stay easy to trigger and won't be be too hard to use in city traffic at slow speed, clearly won't be soft as the original one but will not be uncomfortable to use.
In the few miles it judder a little bit, because this is inherent to the cerametalic material, after this the disc will start "building" with the flywheel and the clutch cover.
Best regards, Displatec Team. How much do you want if you include bearing? Or can I buy bearing separate from FIAT? How much for delivery to Sweden? Paddy: I also want to test this clutch. So let´s hope for a good discount Regards Freddan

Good morning paddy, The life time of the clutch depends how you use it,because this i can tell you exactly. About the bearing i'll check out here and i'll tell it price. And yes it will hold your 450bhp car and to stop the little judder i told it takes about 1500 to 2000 milles. Best regards, Displatec Team.

I'll check out for you how much it cost here and add to the clutch price, but you can buy bearing separate from FIAT there. I'm checking the payment way too. Thank's to everyone .

be careful because doing this customs have been known to not release items! I find it makes more sense to bite the bullet and just pay the customs ;-) Paul

Just got the invoice from Displatec, all in including shipping to ireland its costing 594 US dollars for complete 6 plate clutch kit and that equates to 460 euro for the entire kit, including the bearing too.
To me that is a very very good deal, when you consider how much more the likes of Helix 6 paddel clutch and others are.
Very happy with that price.I will have the clutch kit in 15 days or there abouts.

depends if you want an on / off feel to the clutch, or some some progressive bite to it.
Clutches are rated in torque, not bhp
Your car is Usain Bolt with wellies

What is best suited for 450bhp? Good afternoon, The coils on the disc works to facilitate the gear shift interlock. On a strong car its isn't necessary because the high torque make te interlock faster and the coils lose their work. For a strong car like yours paddy we recomend a uncoil disc. I hope i've helped. Best regards, Displatec Team.

What is best suited for 450bhp? Flea gets by with a single plate clutch with more than that and more torque than you're likely to make. Unlike a lot of items you really want to go with the lowest spec you can get away with because it makes the clutch more usable. That said with my high torque I could not get away with a single plate which is why I have a Helix twin plate. With high boost I could easily get upwards of 550lbs/ft (not that I run high boost)

Coiled or uncoiled?

sorry, but you're something like a slightly faster version of Begbie, no? I mean it's not that the car is ready to go and it's the clutch missing, is it? Good luck and we are waiting for a proper report once the car is back on the road! Cheers V.
