... my insurance company sends me a renewal quote that is about ten percent up on last year's premium. I just phoned them up and cancelled it on the spot. The woman asked me why, so I told her. Next question on the flowchart - "if we could match your quote... ?" No. I am so sick of this.

It was Budget this time.

yeah, mine went up in june a think! am with virgin, got a letter and got a quote saying 800 and odd.. went on the virgin website and got quoted 600 and odd. wasnt a happy bunny, rang up and played hell! have you tryed confused.com?

same with me and Admiral after 3 years on multicar policy with 3 cars VX220 Coop and an MGF they try and shaft me every year!

Sick of the song and dance to get a just quote of the bstards!

£346 for the coop and with their sisted company elephant £243?? Go figure?!

I tried all those guys and others, still cannot get my quote on a 20V na below £460...7 years no claims, 37 years old...it's a f'ing joke! Especially considering the car would only get about £1000 (I think) on the open market these days.

GreenLight wanted £600, I replyed with an email which basically laughed at them....lol

Sainsbury's are £150 cheaper for me than anyone else though I know others are ripped of by them, go figure \:P
