I would like the thoughts of you lot on the price for my Vinci Grey LE (no.212). Not sure if I should keep it (because its not worth anything) or sell it on as a project for someone.

So here goes. All usual LE extra's 116k, service history but engine was changed 10k ago for a 50k engine.

Niggles.

The bonnet has some minor dents on.
Temp gauge works in the style of an italian. Some times it works, sometimes it doesn't.
Wheels need a refurb as do the rear calipers.
there is bubbling on one of the rear lamp bezels.
there is a minor split on the sideskirt.
leather is ok (bolster could do with a refurb but its perfectly usable) but there is a mark on the rear leather seat.

When the new engine went in it has new belts/water pump/temp gauges/thermostate/new clutch.

In its current condition i am not sure if it would make (in my opinion given the current market) 2k but then I would probably need to spend the same again to make it perfect and I am not sure I really want to do that when I really need a fast estate. Its going to have a final service from poweritalia before it goes as well.

It drives perfectly. Its never let me down (well other than two times I flooded the engine and the dodgy cam sensor).

I also have a powder coated plenum chamber/fan/rocker cover that need to go on.

So do you think 2k is about right given the condition. I would love to keep it, but I dont think I can continue to keep it and have another (nice) car as well.

Thanks for the reality check. 2k is too low. Its also has the uprated manifold and stainless exhaust (quite recent as well). I am now thinking more in the region of 2.5 - 3k with all the bits. Still cheap considering what some examples have gone for recently.

I will be making a decision very very soon.

I think you can still add at least an extra grand on top of that!
