There could well have been some clutch slip on the rollers, especially if in 5th gear? It doesn't sound too bad at the moment, but definitely enough to ruin the usual coupe torque spike - the clutch just managing to cope again as the torque naturally died away - gripping properly at higher revs.
Just a theory anyway.

The main thing to look at is how safely the car is running. If you are happy with the way the car feels and drives then dont over analyse the figures + graphs IMO. I'd agree with that, I take all power figures with a pinch of salt these days! The main aim from a RR should be to find out the car is fuelling ok and not detting!

What were your previous figures Trappy? 254bhp & 238lbs/ft Peak torque will often come in around 5000rpm. It's the classic double torque peak, one when full boost is reached and then another as the engine comes on cam i.e. variator switches off, giving another little swell. That is why so many drivers feel a second wind at around 5k especially on mid sized turbos.

Flea, on the Gtec 1 chip I was making 254bhp and 238lbs/ft (as far as we couold work out from that turd's dyno run anyway). 38bhp and 27lbs/ft isn't too shabby a gain from a remap and a second hand Blitz EBC The torque curve very closley follows the old 256lbs/ft curve until 3,800rpm where it climbs again.

I guess you cant see signatures?
Here you go:
292bhp @6,190rpms, 265lbs/ft @5,319rpms 245wbhp @ 6,100rpm 1.31bar

Enjoying Coop ownership, second time round . Also enjoying RWD action in a thundering V8 E90 M3.

I asked Steve at Track'nRoad and road why he'd done this and he said in a matter of fast tone "It calculates the parisitic losses much better, I always use the highest geat. I once had a 2001 F1 car up to 250mph on those rollers" He wasn't joking, he showed me the video of the thing. It was Jos Verstappen's if i'm not mistaken. It's still used in a Boss racing (or similar( series? It made 778bhp and sounded absolutely insane on the rollers This guy has been doing dyno runs for 27 years and seemed to now his stuff. Ford use him for mapping of some of their new cars, he's recently been on the new Fiesta Zetec-S and Fiesta "India"- it needs to run on 88ron fuel. He was talking for about an hour and a half after the run about the future of ECUs, sat, nav fuel economy and tax lol. Very interesting though I liked the guy and would tend to go with what he says from now on. I'm starting to get the impression that 90% of these Dyno places are run by idiots with no real knowledge of the machinery they are using...

The car is driving very nicely indeed Very little lag, a much bigger kick in the back when it spools and a lot more 'turbo' noise; you can really here the thing working now Also the DV seems to have a bit more 'snap' when it dumps now; not so much chatter... which is nice. Maybe the spring was a little too strong for 1.2bar? I did notice a bit of clutch slip last night at around 5,750rpm in third so I think that might explain the little bump on the graph here. Curiously it hooked up again just afterwards just like it seems to in the graph. This seems to occur just after peak torque so I'm wondering if a new clutch might allow a little more urge around this point At least I can go for the GTA as I'm only making 265lbs/ft
