I finally finally finally (yes it was along time after a group buy in the days of yore) fitted my FK coilovers, long after a lot of people decided that they were not so good (thanks Rog for the fitting advice). They don't seem too bad to me, I've been used to clapped out old original suspension, so anything would be better...

But when fitting the front shocks, I noticed a slotted groove rather that a hole for one of the two lower bolts (can't remember if it was the top or bottom one), but as a result the angle of the wheel from vertical (camber? caster? ) could be changed. I pushed the hub all the way in since that looked most similar to original, but what have other people done? Is that a deliberately adjustable setting to match OE setup?

As I recall, it’s the top hole that’s slotted. I think setting it to somewhere in the middle works out about right (from memory trying to adjust h2ypr’s). Standard camber I think is anything from 0 to -1 degree so there’s a fair bit of scope for error. A decent wheel alignment place should manage to set it or tell you what it is, or maybe someone close has a gauge you could borrow?

Yeah Dave as B said it's the top hole that's slotted and in the middle was pretty close to being perfect.
