Bob, maybe this could be moved to the Insurance section to let non-members know what they are missing out on. After all, at your age you must only pay £60~70 a year anyway, and a £40 saving more than covers the £25 membership.

It's a fair point though. I'd rather "save" £15 and have a years membership to the club than give an extra £40 to my insurance company and I can imagine there are lots of potential members out there who are the same.

I received my renewal through on the Seat TDi this morning. Currently with the AA and renewal was just under £250, £45 cheaper than last year
I decided to shop around and got it down to £235 with Admiral. I was chuffed to bits but decided to contact Flux. They came in at £195 but then agreed to take into account my Coupe club discount, and charged me £165
