Now I don't normally like side skirts on the Coupe (traditionalist me !), but those are very nice . Tend to agree with Truffle about the rear bumper, but might consider it if I could stick with a side exit exhaust. Hmm, very nice style front bumper with extra breathing for the FMIC, coupled with the nicest side skirts that I have seen......oh no, for the sake of my credit card I must stop !! I guess the only question would be which other rear bumper would suit this kit? Any good ideas? Phil

Quote:
Hi Will! We have Zender style sidekirts, and rear valances (see picture). The prices as follows: Side skirt (1 par): 110 EUR Rear valance with mesh (1 piece): 65 EUR If you order more then 1 set, we can give you 10% discount of the total price of the items. About the packing together question: we have to check, but I think, we can pack 2-3 bumpers and the rear valance in 1 pack. It will cost a little more (maybe 50-60 EUR, because of the weight gain, but we have to clear this question with the DPD), but not double-triple price. But I'm sure, the sidekirts have to go into another, because they have totally different form. We have no bumpers on stock now, so please calculate with a 1 week production time in this case. But the bank transfer will take about 4-5 days, so it's not a big problem, I think. Best regards, tocsa
Phil try and give Blueflame a ring today if poss please matey also for the credit cards sake the rear bumper you have now would be fine

yep, i know this skirt, but it has been not constructed, due to lack of interest. See the pics (better angle). tocsa ps: i had a thread on the fccuk about the bumper, but after the server crashdown, i didn't put it back
I guess the question is how much interest is there for the skirts then....

Will, have you got the photos that Tocsa refers to? I would be interested in the skirts, but only if they are the ones in Truffle's photos above . Supercoupe - Whereabouts are you in the UK? Truffle is not far from me in the south, so we may be able to do something on postage . Phil

Will, no luck with Blueflame, as they had gone home when I called at just after 5 ! I will e-mail Nigel again this evening to see if I can get any answers to my questions, as I am not in the office tomorrow. Richard, point noted . I just can't resist a bargain and happen to like this front bumper, particularly as it should flow even more air to the FMIC, etc. Phil

Cloud?? And yes phil the flowing is very good but i would prefer the top section to be thinner as well to coop the top of the FMIC off and allow flow over the aicron rad into the normal rad as well at that point, unless it can be tapered a little bit in that section so the back section is say an 1" thinner than the front of the bumper???

Will the mould is made for the bumper unless there was quite a few orders it would not be worth modifying/making a new mould, also its just the same as the standard bumper where the fmic would come through so not much chopping needed Kev

Im thinking that tapering would actually try and suck more airflow onto the coolers as if you look at teh rads when you take the bumper off you can see where the slits in the bumper are and such like.

Considering the interest being expressed on this thread, is there anyone willing to take on the organisation of a Group Buy, and move this to the appropriate section? I would, but I already have two GBs ongoing and another in the planning stage, plus two track days to arrange. The wife is already complaining about the amount of time that I spend on here ! Will also has his hands full with other things for the forum, so how about someone else stepping forward . Phil

I'm not promising to arrange a group buy, but thought that it might be useful to pull together the expressions of interest so far: Kingpleb - Front Bumper (ideally with mods to improve air flow to I/C & rads) Truffle - Front Bumper & side skirts Highwayman - Front Bumper & Side Skirts supercoupe - Front Bumper Riffen - Front Bumper (Posted to Sweden) Toto - Possibly tempted by a Front Bumper adncool - Side Skirts Danny - Front Bumper I make that 6 bumpers and 3 sets of side skirts . I am based in Hampshire, so I guess several of you could pick up your bumpers from my place if I acted as the main postal address. Not sure that will be ideal for everyone though . Will - Do you PM Tocsa, or have you got his e-mail address? Maybe you could point him in the direction of this thread, and he could confirm some details for us (e.g. price for single postal address in UK, exact design of skirts, method of payment accepted, etc.) Phil

Hi all! I've got Will's email, so i will pay attion an this thread now. I think i've sent you all the price info needed. If not, just ask. Postage to sweden: i will ask dpd, but I think same price as to the UK (we have to check, 'cause we had probs with postage to Greece ). PIU skirts: there are two main problems: time and money (we don't have so much time to construct it, and if we make it for 3 man, that will be very expensive). Zender skirts and rear valance: here is a picture about them: [image]http://img.tar.hu/tocsa0/size2/16024195.jpg[/image] tocsa ps: i don't know, why the image tag doesn't work. pls copy the url, and watch the pic

How expesive are we talking to get 3 set of skirts made up? what if we managed to drag in 2 more people to make 5 in total?

Well, personally I would be keen to hold out for the PIU side skirts, as I'm not that keen on the Zender ones, and am certainly not interested in the Zender rear valance ! To summarise costs then: Front Bumper & Mesh - 210+25 Euro + 40 Euro postage to UK = 275 Euro (£189) Zender Skirts - 110 Euro (£75.50) postage to be confirmedZender Rear Valance - 65 Euro (£45) postage to be confirmedTocsa - Can you please confirm the following: 1. What discount you could offer on these prices if we were to order all of the UK front bumpers (5 altogether) to be delivered to a single address? 2. Could you offer Riffen a discounted price as well, even though he isn't in the UK? 3. What would the postage costs be for the skirts? 4. How much might the PIU side skirts be to manufacture in small numbers (say 3 for the moment)? Phil

As I write it before, we can give 10% discount from the items price (bumps, skirts, rear vals), if they are ordered here as 1 unit, no matter how much addresses they have to be post to (huh, i'm not sure about the grammar). If we post a few to one address, then there will be a postage price reduction too, but we can't pack the bumpers and skirts together, because of the very different shape. And keep in mind, we can pack max 3-4 bumpers together, 'cause the weight limit. Yes, Riffen will get the discount too, and we will post his pack to sweden (the postage price is nearly the same, as to UK). The postage price of the skirts is about 35 EUR, because they are nearly the same lenght as the bumpers, and that counts too. I know nothing about the prices of the skirts yet.

Thanks Tocsa. I think that it might be time to move this thread to the Group Buy section. It doesn't seem like anyone else wants to run it, so I guess I will have to ! I'll sort something out this evening, when I have a bit more time to pull together all of the above information and summarise it . There may well be others who will want to join the above list. Phil

I've forgot to mention that, the packs are delivered with insurance, so if anyone gets them, please open them at the moment, when you've got it, and courier is there, and if any problem (see adncool's case) occurs, report it, and make a record about it, and the insurance company will pay for it. tocsa ps: sorry for the grammar, i've owned a few beer
