This is great news! - I always said a Fiat Coupe should have been in the 'Stylish Coupe for <£1500' feature they did a couple of series back.

I am beside myself with excitement - and hopefully supply & demand increases will follow and the up turn in prices will finally begin! How cool are we going to look when it kicks ass in the test (reliability aside!).

I'm assuming that the BBC TG team can read this forum though - but I vote yes on the sneaky GTEC (unless Clarkson does mod it himself as he did with the Starion Turbo). I would hope that they do a bhp test, a top speed or 0-60 test or even lap of a circuit (maybe a drag race would be better publicity!). Perhaps a 'what's best looking' with the public type of test?

The producer told me that he had just brought a 1994 Lexus LS400 (4.0 V8) and Hammond was still undecided so it could have some fierce competition in regards to horsepower!

The new series is due for the summer. There is only 6 episodes in June I think he said, so tune in for all of them and you will definately see it. And next year, it should be on DVD as well

It might be a bit crindgy to watch, especially as Jeremy likes to use James’s choice of car as an external brake. Or James may be intending on getting his own back.

Remember that in the last challenge they filled cars up with water and tried to go as far as possible before it leaked too much.

Whilst I'm looking forward to seeing some extended coverage of the coupe on TV is anyone else also slightly concerned?

Anyone think this could attract the "wrong" sort of buyers especially considering the low price of the one being used?

Also many here are assuming that the coupe will do well ( i hope it does) but there are plenty of scope for clarkson to FCCUK it up so dont bet on it.

I think it'll be a Pimp My Ride 'esc challenge give the two cars so far.

They've clearly got something nasty in store, because let's face it, a show where the car flies through a set of straight forward challenges perfectly just won't make good TV

But echoing the above I am looking forward to seeing it on the show. A lot.

It's about time the Coupe got some decent press coverage. A unique, relatively limited production vehicle.

Personally I'm looking forward to seeing some stylish shots of the car, with all the special filters and angles they use.

However, it's far more likely that they could end up half liking the Coupe, and half taking the absolute piss out of it. Either way, it'll just be nice to see one of the TV again...
