I've been thinking about getting a set of these (fibreglass replicas) - my car has been lowered 3cm though. has anyone had problems with them getting bashed or ripped off. I'm concerned about this as I live in london + there are bast*rd speed bumps everywhere etc.

Mine is 35mm lowered and I've had the lips on now for 6 weeks and no problems. I avoid the ramps and bumps that I did before though and I have the original plastic lips fitted not the copies!

40 quid + postage (depending on what you want to do) I guess about 100 quid painted. I reckon you'd be better off getting them painted after they send them in sprint blue though...

Ooh so tempting, but I am going to say no (again) and ignore this post now. I will wait for you to get yours and if you don't smash yours into any ramps after a few weeks, I might go for some then

I've got fibre glass LE lips on mine which is not lowered and you still have to be careful. Haven't had any problems with speed bumps, but you can't swing the front bumper of the car over most pavements i.e. when making a 3 point turn like you could before, and some steep ramps in car parks are now no go

I got my LE lips fitted and managed to trash them within a month in my works underground car park

I then drove the car for about 6 months making sure a new what was possible or not before getting them re-sprayed. So far so good

pants - I've just ordered them! Oh well - I was going to order the skirts anyway, so I've not paid any extra on postage! I'll see how I get on....

Kelly has got LE lips on her plus and coilovers lowering about 50mm I believe, she has a few scuffs on them but nothing major.

I've got front lips to go on and will be getting coilovers later in the year but am not worried too much.

You think the LE lips give problems then try a Cadamuro front bumper! Its low at the front even at standard height so Ive had to go for Coilovers. I needed adjustable so that if its to low then I can bring it up again a bit. The FK's are on order so will let you guys know how I get on.
