What I would like to know is some information along with pictures from anyone that has front seats other than standard leather or from the group buy please.
I`m really struggling with the seats I got from the group buy as they are sitting to high

I wrote how to lower the group buy seats on the old forum, maybe try and get a cached page on a google search for the info? as I've forgotton exactly what I did now.

Hi Kev How did you do that? there is 2 sets of spacers which for different reasons they can`t be removed. Or so I thought. The set between the seat and the runners I wouldn`t be able to remove because you have the bracket for the seat belt stalk and the other set is between the runners and the Alu base. If I remove the spacers there then the front fixing bolts stops the runner from going forward.
Your help would be most appreciated. If I can remove those 2 sets of spacers then the seats will be fine

Hi Graham just been and had a look at mine in the dark! i also have 2 sets of spacers but i defenatly lowered them, think i might have had a set of spacers under the ali base too! heres mine

Kev Is that a pic of the seats before you removed the spacers or how you have it now?
I`m confused as the pic shows both sets of spacers in place
The spacers under the Ali base was I small set for the front and large spacers for the rear. Can`t workout how you could remove those as the base wouldn`t fir properly.
I need to remove all spacers

Thats weird about the spacers. My group buy subframes came only with rear spacers, to be fitted between the frame and the floor, to accommodate the longer bolts. I fitted the frame straight to the floor, with the spacer above so the bolt still fits. After 400 miles sitting on the seat it is now *almost* as the standard seat.
Graham perhaps if its still too high for you after a thousand miles, you could get a trimmer to remove some of the foam from the seat base? shouldn't cost too much I reckon.

Hi Richard Take a look at the pic kev supplied. My seats are exactly the same setup. Those to seperate lots of spacers are killing me. I can`t even sit in the car without my neck at an angle

how tall are you graham? I'll have a look at mine at some point, although I dont get home till late in the evenings (dark) so it may have to be at the weekend.
You can remove some of the spacers to lower the seat, so don't give up yet. I'll see what I can find out in the mean time.

I`ve got no idea how to remove these spacers. Kev posted a pic of the spacers. The ones between the seat and runners I can`t remove unless I find another place to fix the bracket to hold the Seatbelt stalk on. The spacers between the runner and the bracket I can`t remove either because the runner wont go forward as it hits the bolt which fixes the base to the car
