If you have a look at the Knockhill site under corparate (*i think) it has all the prices, but the nicer the weather the more expensive it gets Both times I've been to Knockhill it's pissed down I'm sure I dont need to say but a helmet is a requirement

Am I the only one that thinks having that sort of competitiveness on a track day is a bad thing? Personally I dont trust everyone quite that much...

I wasn't speaking about them or us, I was just speaking in general. Obviously on a track day everyone is going for it but if you add in a 'vs' element I can see it ending in tears, not to mention being extremely unpopular with the track day organisers. Anyway, back to the topic at hand. Anyone got any pics of me? Come on, with a 20 second reaction time, it's not like you didn't have time to take a photo.

Hmm I never thought of it that way - I (as Crail) view it as a way of seeing what your car can do, having fun and beating your own records. A like minded Coupé day may work - but without the numbers it could get very expensive - would pople be willing to spend that? Sorry MattB for going off topic again, just wanted to have my rant I want Pics TOO!!!

I thought one of the trackday rules is Strictly No Competition? Matt is right..if its a trackday for fun, I'm in..if there is a Vs element to it, i'm out. Love my coop too much P.S sorry bout the delay with the pics guys..just been really busy..will upload either tonight or tomorrow..in the meantime, somebody upload the videos pls!

Which reminds me, what in the name of god was that really crappy music all about. It made me want to just continue driving straight ahead until I hit the sea.

No, I was still messing about with the lights on the starting light, trying to get into position as they kept going off when I hadn't moved. Then it decided to go green when I was busy moving backwards.

Cheers Kelv, wish I got a pic of you snoozing in the car though . Which reminds me, what in the name of god was that really crappy music all about. It made me want to just continue driving straight ahead until I hit the sea. Lol while Daz and I were taking a break from the arctic winds we could hear a very peculiar chirping noise which at first I thought was coming from my engine. I switched it off but the noise was still there . Then we spotted a load of gulls fighting over scraps from the burger van but the noise still seemed to be more of a chirp than the sound of birds. Then we realised that the sound we were hearing was the "music" which was getting blown about by the wind and messing up the already dire sounds into something unearthly . Baz

I've ment to come on long before now, sorry guys. Would just like to thank all of you that attended and put up with the freezing cold, but especially like to thank Matt and his 2 side kicks for taking up the challange.
A couple of things I'll answer, the v8 unfortunatly decided to self destruct (again), lost a couple of push rods, they decided to come loose and go have a look around the inside of the engine. Will be back again to see another day Gordon is mental that way.
The 12.8, was done in an s13 running on road tyres and believe it or not still has a CA18DET engine not an SR, Mikes not too clever and has stuck with that silly engine.
It was a brilliant day and seemed to be enjoyed by all, I for one look forward to the next challange that is laid done before us. Our choice next time, should be fun.
All of you guys where great all day and it was a pleasure to meet you all.
See you soon, if your interested we should be having an RR Day again in April time if you guys are up for it.
