Tonight at 4pm my last company owned coupe left the building. \:\(

So now there aren't any left, not got any coming either, seem to be really drying up recently. All this bad weather and there's been nothing.

Only seems 5 minutes since i had 23 Coupes in the workshop (our record) last September-October. So no more scenes like this death row \:\( Ill get some pics up of all the coupe's sprawled all outside soon \:\)

Just need to sell of my own Plus and LE's bar one now.

Ill be back to them one day, im un-decided what to do about hacking them still, on a smaller scale perhaps, need to decide. Carnt seem to work anything out with the forum as to advertising our parts as we wanted to either. \:\(

I will be back to them, give it a couple of years, once all the dirty filthy chavs have destroyed all the cheap crap ones and only the real fine examples are left ill be back to put some of the better few back on the road.

Ive still got masses of parts so ill still be around till after the summer even if we do decide to drop them totally. looks like we "might" hack the odd couple. Who knows. Carnt bloody buy any hackers if i wanted some \:\(

Well looks like 2008 will see the end of some of the old memebers Coupes. Its only Jan, Europa has gone, Roly, Highwayman has just advertised, no doubt JohnS will sell his shorty. I know of a few other people gearing up to sell shortly too. \:\(

Yeh me too, but persistent attempts over the last few years have got to nothing. Forum doesn't need the money perhaps?

That's bloody typical that is, I finally get my hands on one, don't know what to do with it and the one person who could help is off... I was born too late!

Only Joking Carl, I have already spent hours and hours looking at old forum threads that you and some of the other long term members have posted for the countless issues this car exibits. Can only offer you my thanks and wish you well in the next venture.

So what's next, what other poor car deserves chopping?

might not need the money, but it needs the users .... no parts, no coops, no users ..

how long have you been doing it all for anyway Carl ?

and do you have pics of these fabled LE's and Plus's that are your keepers ?

the coops seem to have hit a price where the chavvy types seem to deem them a good option ... how very dare they ..

5 years nearly, or is 5 years, i forget Fellie.

Im not keeping the Coupe's only one, if one at all.

Yeh prices are rock bottom. Too many already neglected coupe's falling into the wrong hands for pennies. \:\(

yet another issue to make the decission whether to buy mine back or not if its a write off.

All so confusing!

At the end of the day your in it to make a living, and either there is a demand or there isnt, although im sure its not that simple.

People can't sell their coops to chavs.
Maybe when selling coops you should be interviewing the potential buyers, make sure they tick all the right boxes for a worthy owner.
No chavs EVER.

The large majority of Coupe owners we still have the forum will prevent the chavs from ruining them for the future of others. We will always have the purists. I'm not going to let the low resale price and the potential dilution of owners put me of the enjoyment and love i have for my car.

IMO the cars are still too specialist for the so called 'chavs'. The horror stories are still about - cam belts, oil consumption, running costs, Red Key etc etc will continue to put people off.

Coupe now sold!

I don't think chav's will buy them, not when Impreza's are getting so cheap now.

were all fccuked!! think about it where are we all going to get good parts from at good prices and with carlts wit!

ive just had a rear subframe new trailing arms and a sump and other various expensive parts, if carlt isnt going to help us where might we get a bonnet or bonnet lifters, lights etc fiat????? if you need something who do you ring for spares?

im going to buy a car that carlt is intending to start hacking, hopefully its not going to be BMWs.

isnt there anything we as members and forum users can do to help carlt with the admin of the club to insure the safe continous supply of parts we need to run our cars, id happly pay more for my parts than trying to source from fiat or trailing round scrap yards

Carl, don't give up saving the good bits from the old crackers, as I will need the odd bit here & there mate. In fact I have a little list I will ask you for soon.

As for my coop, this bugger is coming to the grave with me whether it wants to or not

that is of course If I am offered silly money, which is doubtful, as its now a 10yr old car \:\( , hard to believe but true, I even remember having a full head of hair back then \:o °\( now I have to get up in the night to piss....

and you think you got troubles

Its interesting the comments about Chav's getting their hands on the coop, I don't think its necessarily a bad thing, as with out expensive TLC the coop dies quite quickly, so you will only be left with the nice examples mostly.... this aounds weird saying it, but its a bit like the Capri, used to be owned when I was a kid by the 'yoofs' but when neglected they soon died away, now they are quite a rare spot, and the few I have seen look in nice condition
