Just got round to sorting out my car insurance and got the best quote from Noel Dazely. 530 pounds. He beat elephant, tesco and adrian flux. Top work and service.

I just tried them out of curiosity. I am fairly young 22 and usually the "cheap" insurers arent that cheap!

But bugger me, come renewal time in 2 months they quoted me less for 12 months than Admiral, Bell direct did for 10 months

They will be getting my cash! Worked out £840 Fully Comp for me and the missus. With 2 Accidents (1 fault and 1 Non fault) and an SP50, with 2 years NCB

just done my insurance (didnt read this post beforehand about noel dazely) and went with admiral. Im 26, 6yrs NC, full comp and protected NC, no accidents or points with the missus on there and it came out at £463 with £350 excess. So when i asked them to reduce the volentary excess to £0 it came out at £546 a bargain i thought for a 20VT. what do yuo guys think, or did i pay over the odds a bit.

I didn't even think about Noel Dazely till reading this, just been quoted £510. Got a few points, full NCD, no accidents.

Thanks Paul/Dean @ ND

ask to speak to Noel, he will give you a further discount as he loves coupes (and knows all about that third gear!)

Just had my renewal from Elephant - £389 fully comp with protected no claims , (exhaust only declared ). Asked what the renewal would be if I fitted a unichip, (which they had not heard of), boost controller and uprated shocks. They came back with £620.

Tried Greenlight who came up with £597 (all mods declared).

Finally Noel Dazely - £517 all mods declared.

Looks like I'll be going with Noel Dazely this time as I'd now rather declare all my mods. Means my new mods have cost me an additional £128 in insurance.

NOPE going with ADrian Flux instead.

34 y.o. plus wifey, full protected no claims, 1 no fault accident, aftermarket exhaust.5000 miles PA.

Got a renewal from Elephant of £595 . ND and Greenlight came in at £510 but Admiral was £435 with mod Tried Adrian Flux just before going with Admiral and got £410 with club discount

I'm glad insurance is only done once a year as I'm sick to death of trawling through websites entering the same details

Tesco have just sent my renewal, which has not only gone up by over £200 (no claims or other reason for this), but they have increased all the excesses as well. Time to start ringing round...

Just moved mine, the previous insurer, Lloydstsb, wanted £343 for the coupe alone, 9 years NCD some mods .

Went over to Admiral as part of a Multicar policy:
Coupe £188, mods declared, lower excess plus C3 insured for £114. Total for 2 cars £302.

Result

16VT and X1/9 1500

We must all do our part for the planet.
I unplugged a row of electric cars that nobody was using.

Insured mine with First Alternative for the past 2 years.

£468 including protected NCB, with the missus on & with monthly direct debit payments.
Very impressed, especially for a Plus with it's higher rating.
