if you set the delorean to go back in time say 20 seconds, so the car will be going 88 mph when the car actually started the 0-100 time trial. so the total 0-100 time will be about 2 seconds. thats pretty quick. i think i just confused myself

Right, I've been constructing an Excel document that will help me get times like these for coops of all bhp. It is suggesting around 12.8 secs for a 300bhp coop from 0-100mph. You'd need around 340bhp (according to my calculations) to break 11 secs and 445bhp to dip under 10. Some 1/4 mile times as well as terminals with various bhp figures would help me ensure it is farily accurate

I read in a recent article that even an unmodified Coupe can blast from 50 to a 100 quicker than a lot of performace cars - any evidence to back this up? I would expect a modified one to be even quicker then!
