From who?

There is a TVR specialist that does them cheaper I believe, cannot remember but try googling around for META TVR.

Hmm if you can get a pic up we can see. I had two new fobs made for mine for around £100 I think and that was with no existing fobs so the whole lot had to be re coded.

Ok that is not the Emta one I was thinking of, its the round one that I know about. Sorry - maybe still try those TVR people though.

There are no rectangular Meta cases left (although if you're lucky your local Fiat dealer may have one lying around), you need to have your code transferred to a round one which is about £40 IIRC from Abacus Alarms.

@Oxo, sounds like you have the Scorpion alarm, don't know anything about the cases on these unfortunately.

If anyone is after a replacement case for a META fob they are available here for £10.

Last time I spoke to scorpion about the fobs for the coupe (918u IIRC) the chip maker for the rolling code chip no longer exists so they can't make any new fobs for us. They can however re-program old ones if you send them the fobs and the alarm box...

I can heartily recommend abacus alarms.

I had the old rectangular fobs. They made me up one of the (newer) round meta fobs for £40 delivered.

They just needed the code from my red card that came with the keys. Amazingly my car still had the card.

after talking to many people it seems to be a genuine fiat part at £119 plus vat each part number 46305528

but what about this i found

http://www.abacusalarms.co.uk/alarms/meta/meta-m20.html

will this do the job ie when the central locking is activated does the alarm also activate?

may try abacus to see if they can get me two new fobs

keep you posted

i'm sure the rectangular fob cases are impossible to get hold of now, i tried abacus alarms but went for the round one for 40 squid as mentioned above - much better though, the button doesnt wear away and its much more hard wearing!
