So if I get a run on the RR and it shows that my fueling is out slightly, will these people put it right for me?

Nope. You have the opportunity to try and get it better by using a different chip but that's about it.

Yep - would be Chris. Though in the past, some haven't minded staying all day and others with kids etc. didn't want to spend an entire saturday at the RR so I guess we could leave it as is unless there are any requests.
I think there will still be the issue of just 2 cars in at one time but will double check that with charlie.

Looks like I may not be able to make this now . My wife is away in Germany that weekend, and I have the two children to keep entertained from Friday to Monday ! Whilst I'm sure my son would love to come along to the RR, I don't think my daughter would be very keen . Put me down as a maybe and I'll play it by ear on the day . Phil

Just get her a new mobile phone and she'll be calling/texting/videotexting her mates all day long. and anyway why can't your wife take your daughter shooping in Germany, one each, that's fair innit?

I think Chris means Coupe Turbo with GT28RS roller bearing units . Try searching in tuning, and I'm sure that you'll find something on them. Phil

Kenno, sorry mate but I'm going to have to drop out. Rog has strongly recommended I get a live map before taking her past 4.5k and the soonest PT can get me in is mid November. That means it wont be done in time for this session.
Edit Ive just got my date with PT changed so I'm now booked in on 23/10/07. However it probably is a waist of money putting me on the rollers after only 2 weeks being on PTs. I would still like to turn up though if spectators are allowed?

Well you could give us a good idea of how the two different roads compare. If PT's rollers are modest at least you'll have a bigger power figure to boast about down the local.

Well I suppose Highwayman and Suba are the other PT/SRR comparisons. So... 1. Kenno's mate 2. Suba 3. Bockers 4. Mark_K 5. Nobby 6. Webbo 7. mrc 8. Nazo 9. JohnS (Afternoon slot.. just incase he breaks the rollers! ) 10. Neal - Cerb (either first or last on) 11. Paddy 12. Sugerbear 13. sporadic_kit Possible/(probable ) : 1. Highwayman On lookers: 1. 007

Just spoken to Charlie. We kick off at 10am and it'll take around 15 mins per car. Price is £40 but will drop to £35 if we can get another car on the rollers. (Ahem Phil..) Charlie will run your car until there are two consistant output readings. Changing chips can be done, but this may incur an additional cost. The line up is as follows: 10am1. Suba 2. Bockers 3. Mark_K 4. Nobby 11am5. Webbo 6. mrc 7. Nazo 8. Paddy 12pm9. Sugerbear 10. sporadic_kit 11. JohnS 12. Neal - Cerb (RWD) 1pm13. Kenno's mate - Starion (RWD). Yes you read it correctly.

Thanks Kenno. Will it be cash on the day or are deposits or full payments required beforehand?!

Kenno, It will work out cheaper if we buy a slot on the dyno then don't use it as with 13 people @ £40 the total cost is £520 and with 14 @ £35 it is £490.

Pretty sure it's payment on the day Mark. John - I see what you mean.. I'll tell Charlie we've got 14. If he wants that 14th car on the rollers i'll put my smokey tin can on it!

If I promise to make it, can you slot me in at number 11 and bump John back one please? That way I can get on the rollers before he breaks them, and also disappear fairly quickly afterwards to buy the inevitable bribe of a McDs for the kids ! Phil

You'll find out the horse power, torque, what the fueling is like and also how well the boost is being held through the revs. It's always worth a go on a rolling road!! Mark
