So I have Gtec1 installed, EBV is dead, I wanted to fit Greddy boost controller, just curious how much overboost is safe, is 1.3bar ok? I wanted 1.2bar normal pressure. Thanks in advice

I believe it can spike to 1.4bar safely(but only a spike, not set to that), but the best bet if you have a Greddy or something to set the max boost to 1.4bar to allow for the spike, otherwise it'll cut normal boost(due to spiking) and then set it for 1.2bar high and 0.9 or 1.0 bar low.
Depends on the intercooler too and also get the RR checks to ensure fuelling is ok etc too afterwards.
Cheers,
Mark

Mark Thanks Mark, all clear now. I re-checked all, fuelling is great, I have uprated fuel pump fitted, fuel pressure is fine, intercooler, radiator are practicaly new.

But have you been on a RR to to check the fuelling is good?! Also, have you carried out the wiring mod to the fuel pump?! The only reason I say that is it might drive absolutely great and feel nice, but the fuelling still might be out unless checked with a wideband Lambda probe. If it goes too lean, you could melt a cylinder and have to fork out £1500+ for a rebuild. For the sake of £50, it's worth doing if you haven't already and you'll also have a nice bhp/torque graph you can show off with down the pub to your mates!! Cheers, Mark

The standard fuel pump setup will be fine for your mods IMO. The standard chip can overboost to 1.4 bar - but you want sustained boost of no more than 1.2, and this will drop off towards the redline as the turbo runs out of puff.
Mark's spot on - dont just hope the car is fine, you need to go and find out on a RR.
