will it fit?

I have found a set of 17x7's off a race car - offset is ET25.

the race rubber is 205/40 x 17 toyo R888

Anyone know if this will clear the guards on a 16VT - not sure if it's the same as a 20VT

Cheers

I have 7x17 on my 20vt, offset is greater (to clear the brembos)

You may find that a smaller offset gives you some gentle handling issues, as the centreline of the wheel will be further inboard than standard

No - smaller offset sets the wheel further outboard.
