What class immobiliser & alarm do I have? #41003

Can anyone help me with this? I have a standard 20vt[6] yr2000 and need to know if my alarm & immobiliser are cat 1 / 2 / thatcham etc for insurance. Thanks!

Assuming it has a dealer fit alarm (probably a Meta MT99) then you have a Cat1 system.
If you don't have an alarm then the immobiliser by itself is Cat2.

Thanks Scooby. I thin Bockers said is was a Meta when we were looking at it. It has a round remote - if that means anything?
