Anyone ever tried two-player Lemmings?
As far as I know it was only released on the Amiga, and two mice were required to play. It was the two-player part of the original game.

Very good, very addictive, and VERY dangerous if you played versus a sore loser like I did \:D

I am trying to think of a game I enjoyed on the Amiga once. Probably not one of the big well known ones but fun none the less.

I was kind of like dominos meets platform game. Each level you had to work out. I would probably recognise the name or screenshot. Might be worth searching the Amiga emu sites also but would be great if someone know what I was on about \:D

I think I have found it, Pushover I think it was called or something very similar.

This may be of interest. Old DOS games and DOS BOX. Think Lemmings is in here somewhere too.

you need to download a program called "Dosbox"

http://www.bestoldgames.net/eng/dosbox/

run that and you have to access the game through dos commands there is a good intruction set here

http://dosbox.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php?page=Basic+Setup+and+Installation+of+DosBox

if the games ask for a secific access code eg page1 paragraph 567 just type any numbers worked for me

hope this helps

chris

for got to add you need to extract the files in the zip to a folder on your harddrive something that has an easy root/ location eg C:\oldgames\"game folder"\game.exe

Blimey u chose a tough route Chris. My way:

Let two lemmings out, but set the second one to block just after he's landed on the lowest level of the ground. (this way all other 98 lemmings will bunch up into a tiny group which will save u valuable time on this level).

With the first lemming, as he nears the first tower, tell him to mine (diagonal down pickaxe one), then after about 3 or 4 hits, tell him to Bash (sideways mole like action).

He'll then dig his way all the way along to the large gap where u need to build the bridge. Get him building once he breaks through from his 'Bashing'.

Now comes the bit that involves some timing. Once your halfway across the gap (2 or 3 bridge building attempts) tell the blocker at the start to explode.

If u time it right u bridge building should finish the second smaller bridge as the 98 packed in lemmings are crossing the first.

Doing it this way i saved 99 lemmings with 10 seconds to spare \:D

(and got a cuppa in while my mole man did his thing)

Truff quite simply you are my hero, that has been bugging me all week. I can now go out tonight, safe in the knowledge that I am passed that level.

99 saved - 2 seconds left
