Oh, well I hope he got them swirls out smile

Seems the same person prepped the BMW... washed it with a coconut laugh

Usual duff info about the red key and cambelt .. 1k and £700 lol !!

His decision after the break, be a tough call between a straight 6 and 5 pot turbo imo ( having owned both ), but a no brainer in which car overall smile

Shame about the presenter and his facts> 150mph top speed wrong 0-60 6.9 wth maybe if you started in 3rd gear. You would think they would get their facts right.

Knocked mine down from 4700 to 4100 (4.5 years ago). I knew it had been up for sale a while, he had a new car in the drive already, and I wasn't that thrilled with it (nice car, but no aircon).

Main point is I was ready to walk away and he wanted to sell. Never bargain if you aren't ready to walk, you just set yourself up for a fall.

Saw a coupe today on this ITV3 show. Bloke has £3K to spend and they came up with 3 coupes for under that. They produced a 99 20VT a celica and a bmw 3 series thing. He dissmissed the boxy beemer immediatly ,test drove the other tow and then obviously chose the Fiat. They haggled the seller down to £2200 and the chap hap a nice new coop in sprint blue.
Old news ? Repeat? Anyone on here?

Jason Dawe said the '98 model 20vt cost £22k when new.

- I thought they cost over £24k?

Depends how the car was specced when ordered. My 98 'S' with black leather, no sunroof or air con cost a smidge over 23k.
