I've read about various people putting 6 X 9's in the back panels of their coops and I'm thinking of doing the same. \:\)

I've been offered a pair of C4 6 X 9 speakers with a power rating of 300w RMS. Has anyone heard of these and are they any good? Also they're 100mm deep - will they fit?

As I'll be keeping the coop for a while, I want to put some quality kit in but I've been out of the scene for a while. Was thinking along the lines of Becker CD/Tuner, MB Quart Speakers etc but open to suggestions!

Thanks for that. Upgraded cable will be going in as it'll be a new install. \:\)

Was thinking either 6 X 9's or some small subs in the rear panels to add some bass but keep the interior looking stock.

if you can't be bothered fitting a sub, or have no intention of doing so, then go for 6x9's brill low freqs for your green, but if you actually want decent sound quality, don't bother. gor for a decent set of front mounted components. honestly, been there done that, wasted my dosh big time, cuz i ended up binning them and gettin front comps.

Thanks for the replies guys.

Gonna be going for a decent set of front components / amp / head unit. Not looking for massive bass in the coop - been there, done that back in the day. \:\)

Looking for decent SQ rather than SPL hence the front components and trying to decide on small subs or 6 X 9's in the back.

300w rms? So talking about 1000w peak? Thats some set of 6x9's. More likely to be 300w peak and 100w rms.
