Ron Simons, from RSracing has been given a ride with tasos coupe, and he really was surprised by the car..... If that is the guy who i think it is (develops suspension and tests it at the Nurburg ring?) tell him to make a set of coilovers for the coupe!
Your car is Usain Bolt with wellies

whats the details on the rear caliper conversion, does it fit without spacers/adaptors (i.e. does it bolt straight to the stub axel?)?
Sideways a LOT

Excellent work! great matching the power of the engine to the drivetrain, and great results!! I'm sure most Coupe owners over 300bhp can find 1st and 2nd gear troublesome in the wet, and 3rd and 4th gear for the 400bhp+ boys!, its great to see this working! Silver always best colour as well Joe

Chris, did the 20VT engine bolt straight on? We have converted a coupe using an integrale Dedra. It would be good to drop a 20VT in, just wondering how much work is involved.

hi,yes it does bolt on straight, but you would need some special adaptors to move the engine abit to the left, drivers side for you,in order to fit the 4x4 conversion, differential etc, exactly straight to the back differentia.... the big problem is the oil sump,it is neede to make a new on from the start, custom handmade because of the gear box,and also a different exhaust system.......

Chris: Fantastic achievement! On ours, we shortened the drive shafts, moved the petrol tank - and slightly modified the boot floor for the diff and modified the exhaust. It produced a wonderful handling car, better than the Racelogic TC on our other coupe (20vt this time :))On our 4x4 we moved the Integrale engine across, but we would much prefer a 20VT. Any chance of any photos/drawings of the sump?

@ Chris: Could we see some photos of the sump respectively of the adaptors for the engine to move it abit to left???
Such a 4x4 would be a wonderful improvement for the handling on country roads :-) One disadvantage: I believe that you will also gain much loss from an acceleration at higher velocity... 30HP up to 50HP loss through 4x4 at a 450HP-car (on contrary to a front wheel drive, only) could be generated... not really good for a German Autobahn, if preferred :-) Still one big advantage: The durability of the integrale gear box... I know some people driving with a Delta Integrale and 650HP with original gear box... they never had problems with the gearbox (I know only one problem with a differential from rear axle). It will be definitely more long-living than the 6-speed gear box. Juergen
